Every year they broil over 15,000 pounds of chicken, and typically churn out 10,000 chicken dinners in 
four hours! (Don’t even get us started on the 256 pounds of butter). 

Each meal comes with ½ a chicken, a dinner roll with butter, freshly made German coleslaw with their secret local recipe, radishes, chips and your choice of a beverage. Snag this sweet deal for $15 at the gate, or $13 if you purchase it in advance.

This year for their 71st celebration, they’re offering on-site dining, drive-thru meal pickup, on-site walkup for meal purchases and live music. Proceeds for this event go to a variety of causes in the Manchester area so it’s a great cause to support. 

Dexter Summer Festival (AKA: Dexter Daze)

This annual festival has occurred over the past 54 years, and is the celebration of the summer in Dexter! 

People gather in the charming downtown area and enjoy music on the pavilion, delicious snacks food trucks, children’s entertainment, artist booths and a fireworks show at night to top it all off. 

This year, Dexter’s Chamber of Commerce is taking over hosting the event, and is changing it’s name from Dexter Daze to Dexter Summer Festival so make sure you don’t miss it!

They aren't sending the team empty-handed: they will be collecting the following items to send with them. *Any abundance of supplies will be given to Hope clinic in Ypsilanti. **New items only.
• Event on Main: Main Street in Ann Arbor shuts down on the night of June 13th so people can enjoy great food and dance the night away in support of the Little Victors at University of Michigan’s Health C.S. Children’s Mott Hospital. Proceeds for this event go to the Charles Woodson Clinical Research Fund, which enables doctors and scientists to take on the most devastating childhood conditions and diseases.
